6.0 use .NET WPF api for GUI and work on windows system with .NET installed only.
7.0 use native WinAPI on windows and Cocoa API on OSX. Work on clear windows and mac (and on Linux with Wine).
Console will be hidden when program out from BETA phase. Now this window help find errors.

    Greetings, dear Winny
As long as it was already touched here, I want to add few cents in the v6 activation subject.

I activated it couple of times before after reinstalling OS and saved .key file and registry file for further use, but it seems it can’t help. (currently on Win 10:64)
May you leave your advice on that? How does v6 starts to consider itself activated?

In future I believe I won’t need it no more, but I still use it cause it’s fast, simple and stable to do some little convert or a video/audio cut in a handy way.

Try 194 (will be uploaded tomorrow). 193 must work also, but in 193 exists critical timecode decoding bug.
Reset settings and users preset after updating to new version.

Hi. Will the AviSynth filters on Xvid4PSP 5 come to version 7?

    • winnydows on 24 Dec, 2015 at 18:11 said:

Some day, some day. But as filters only.

    • winnydows on 24 Dec, 2015 at 18:13 said:

VD filters at first place. Most AVS filters use internal AviSynth functions and it’s problem for porting.

Probably in September will be added unlock option, but now only beta/test/hot/fresh builds for 14 days.

  14. chris234 on 1 Jul, 2016 at 18:35 said:

Yes, the unlock option will really help for eg.

276 which i downloaded jun 30 11pm est. Bluray to x264 (apple 1080p) encodes look perfect vs 277 which I downloaded july 01 9am est.

  15. winnydows on 1 Jul, 2016 at 18:56 said:

267 have same codec core as 277. New version have only interface and stability improvements. So try compare codec settings in encoder sign. Info tab helps you in this task.

  16. chris234 on 1 Jul, 2016 at 19:57 said:

Well, i understand your point…..BUT you guys are doing something with this program, as if i download your program this morning and I download the same from your website at night……the two encodes are different,,,,you must be making some interface/sharpness/color/contrast changes during the 24hr period that affects the different encoded outcome.

Hello! Can i somehow receive a 24 bit 48.0Khz dts audio like the original source?
After trying to re-convert dts audio from a movie to smaller or the same bit rate, the result is always 16bit 48.0Khz and not 24bit!
    Thanks!

    • winnydows on 30 Nov, 2016 at 08:14 said:

No way – encoder support 16/48000 only.
Only convert to FLAC or COPY helps in your case.

  18. adam on 1 Dec, 2016 at 03:23 said:

Ok, thank you for the quick response!
Is there any chance in the future you make it to support also the 24 bit?

Probably if any external DTS encoder exist. I think DTS encoder from ffmpeg always will be limited.
