A beta build is ready: XviD4PSP 8.1.89

Background

  • The codec settings constructor has been added - you can manage the codec settings window yourself (not all codecs are supported yet).
  • The H264/AVC VideoToolbox and H264/HEVC/AV1 AMF codecs received more encoding settings and received quality presets.
  • For Windows platform, the H264/HEVC/AV1/MPEG2/MJPEG QSV codec (Intel GPU) has been added.
  • For Linux platform, the MPEG2/MJPEG QSV codec (Intel GPU) has been added.
  • Updated codecs: OPUS 1.5.2.
  • Fixed the loss of the last chapter when importing from XML.
  • Fixed merging chapters from multiple files.
  • Fixed unstable program behavior on macOS M1/2/3/4 .
  • Fixed the high probability of failure when encoding on Windows systems.
  • Fixed the use of codec presets on several selected files.
  • Minor corrections.

  • A field of video frame rotation parameters has been added to the Info tab.
  • Fixed the launch of the program on Linux with Cyrillic in the path to the program.
  • The preview of video on Linux has been fixed.
  • Updated codecs and components: wxWidgets 3.2.6, x265 4.0, x264 3a8b5be2, AOM-AV1 3.10.0, SDL2.
  • Minor fixes and optimizations.

  • Fixed opening files with corrupted iTunesMOVI.
  • Fixed coding errors with the SVT-AV1 codec.
  • Fixed opening and encoding with cropping of files requiring decoding of the first frame to rewind to a preset one.
  • Fixed the hang when cropping videos in combination with encoding.
  • Fixed long-term buffering when cropping files without sound.
  • The SVT-AV1 codec has been updated.
  • Various minor fixes.
